As required by FMCSA regulations, Discount Movers offers the following valuation coverage options for interstate moves.
Included at no additional cost. Coverage is limited to $0.60 per pound per article.
Available for an additional charge. Under this option, Discount Movers is liable for the replacement value of lost or damaged goods, or the cost of repair.
These valuation options are governed by 49 CFR Part 375. Discount Movers will discuss these options with you before your move and include your selection on the Bill of Lading. This is not insurance — it is the mover's liability for loss or damage.
